A Harrogate sports therapist has opened a new hub for injury treatment, rehabilitation and performance training.
Rob Jamieson has launched the Sports Performance Hub at Claro Court Business Park, providing a base for his clinic and space for other sports professionals to work with clients.
The move also sees his business change its name from Proactive Sports Therapy to Proactive Sports Performance.
Rob has spent 20 years working with athletes, golfers and active individuals, including ten years based at a local gym.

After needing to move premises at the end of August, he decided to create a venue that could also accommodate personal trainers, therapists and coaches.
Rob said:
“When we were faced with a business move at the end of August, we didn’t want it to be a short-term solution.
“With our experience and professional knowledge, we wanted to build a venue and location that specifically caters for professionals working in sports performance.
“We wanted a modern, clean and professional space with the right equipment and environment for people to do what they do best – whether that’s treating an injury, working on performance or helping a client achieve their goals.”
His clinic specialises in sports injury recovery, performance and golf biomechanics.
He is joined by sports massage therapist Tania Fabricio, who began working with the business in June.
The wider hub offers space for professionals seeking a permanent base or somewhere to hold additional client sessions.
Rob hopes it will also encourage collaboration within Harrogate’s sports and health community.
He said:
“There are a lot of great professionals in Harrogate, but finding the right space to work from can be difficult. The Sports Performance Hub is designed to fill that gap.
“This isn’t a public gym where professionals have to fit their sessions around classes and members. It’s a dedicated space for people working in sports performance.
“We want to create a venue where PTs, therapists, coaches and other professionals can come together, work independently and ultimately provide a better experience for their clients.”
The Sports Performance Hub is now open, with local sports professionals invited to contact Rob Jamieson about using the space.
