A Knaresborough coffee shop is changing hands and will become known as Lupins.
Number Thirteen owner Sarah Ward confirmed that her final day in charge was yesterday (Wednesday 30th September), with new owner Chris taking over today.
Chris will work alongside the existing team to take the coffee shop into its next chapter.
Announcing the news on social media, Sarah said:
“I would like to say that I'm going to be sad to say goodbye to the shop, but I'm so excited and ready for my own next chapter; and knowing that I am leaving the shop in such a good place, I can only be happy for the way this has worked out.”
Sarah will help Chris and the team with the transition over the next couple of weeks and continue working in the shop part-time for a short time.
She will also carry on baking as a separate wholesale supplier, alongside developing her own venture, The Knaresborough Bake Shed.
Sarah said:
“This will give me time to bake for other businesses, bake for my own business venture - The Knaresborough Bake Shed; and also give me the much-needed flexibility to be a mum.”
