Former Stray FM and Harrogate Town executive Sarah Barry has joined Your Harrogate as its new Managing Director.
Sarah brings extensive experience of the local media, commercial and sporting sectors, having previously held senior roles at Stray FM and Harrogate Town AFC.
She will oversee the day-to-day management of Your Harrogate and work with the wider team to support the company’s continued growth.

Current Managing Director Adam Daniel will move into a new role as CEO, focusing on commercial growth and the continued expansion of the group.

Born in Harrogate, Sarah began her career in advertising sales at the Yorkshire Post before joining Stray FM in 1994, later returning as Managing Director after holding management roles across commercial radio in Yorkshire.
Under her leadership, Stray FM expanded into the Yorkshire Dales and developed into a multimedia business, earning a Radio Station of the Year shortlist place at the 2020 ARIA Awards.
Sarah also founded the area’s annual Local Hero Awards and was named Harrogate Ambassador of the Year in 2016 for her contribution to the district.
Sarah went on to become Managing Director of Harrogate Town AFC - a position she held for five years.
