An independent sewing machine shop in Harrogate has thanked customers for their support after celebrating its first year in business.
White Rose Sewing sells Brother and Juki sewing machines alongside haberdashery, and services sewing and embroidery machines, combined machines and overlockers.
Marking the milestone, a spokesperson for White Rose Sewing said:
“I cannot believe that we have now passed 1 year of trading and we are still here and it is all thanks to you our customers.”
The business is now encouraging customers to help spread the word by sharing its website with friends and family.
The spokesperson said:
“We are still trying to get our name out there which is hard as we are a small independent business trying to compete with the big online businesses.
“I absolutely love what I do and part of that is helping people buy the right sewing machine for them whether it be a beginner machine or something more advanced.”
Customers can visit the shop for advice, while those further afield can speak to the team by phone before purchasing online.
