A primary school in Harrogate has unveiled a new canopy in its nature area to allow pupils to learn outdoors.
Coppice Valley Primary has constructed the canopy to support its Forest School sessions and “enhance classroom experiences” with stories under the canopy.
It will also provide a new outdoors space for teachers to host drama activities.

A spokesperson for Coppice Valley said:
“We are thrilled to share our new canopy, nestled into our nature area.
“We are beyond excited for what we know this will bring to our lessons.”
Construction was made possible by local businesses and volunteers.
Members of ‘School Outdoor Learning - SOuL’ were able to install the canopy after contributions from the school’s PTFA, Harrogate Brigantes Rotary, Rotary Club of Harrogate and Drax Group UK.
