'Let's Create' is coming to life, at Rudding Park.
On Friday 10th July, a new wellbeing day is being launched from West Plum Studio, by Sophie Roberts who is a creative mentor, alongside a workshop tutor.
Sophie's aim is to give people the realisation that they deserve time to explore their creativity, through relaxation- their wellbeing is Sophie's priority.
She also explains.
'"It’s so easy to keep going, day after day, with your never ending to do list."
"Telling yourself one day I’ll do something for me."
"The problem with that is one day rarely arrives."
"When you finally stop and look up weeks, if not months, have passed”
She added:
“Even though we know spending time crafting has a positive impact on our wellbeing that doesn’t make it easy for us to prioritise doing it."
"Let’s Create has been designed as a creative escape from everyday life.
"To give people the time and space to work on their crafting projects.
"Those projects that have been gathering dust in the back of a cupboard.
"The ones waiting to be started.
"The ones making people feel guilty.
"Come along to spend some quality time crafting and leave feeling restored and refreshed.”
The well-being event, Let's Create' will be held is a private room at Rudding Park.
Tickets start at £99 per person, however includes a 3 course lunch from a seasonal set menu and quality time on your very own crafted projects, and also meeting similar people with the same likeminded brain.
For every ticket sold, £10 is donated to Mind, located is Harrogate District
