23 year old Jamie will take on a 500 mile journey for charity.
To raise money for the St. John Ambulance Yorkshire Dales, Jamie is taking on a 500-mile challenge, and he will complete it the day before his 24th birthday.
His dad, Dale, will also be joining him on this journey.
To benefit Jamies disabilities, and need for rest breaks, the journey will be done in stages, and will be completed by 7th October.
The 500 mile challenge will consist of; swimming, rowing on a machine, and cycling on a tandem.
This journey is the equivalent of Starbeck, where Jamie lives, to London HQ at St. Johns Gate and back again.
Jamies conditions and disabilities makes this an extreme challenge for him due to his struggle with concentration and balance, he also talks with sounds, hands gestures and an adaptive iPad.
However this doesn't prevent his ambition and enthusiasm to complete the 500 mile challenge.
St, John Ambulance has supported Jamie through all his stages in life, and this is his way of saying thank you for all those gestures.
The charity will also be celebrating it's 150th anniversary next year.
If you are interested to help the Yorkshire Dales 1000 life savers campaign, the aim is to get 1000 more people in the local community who feel positive about using a defibrillator and performing hands only CPR.
The free campaign is live now and will be running throughout all of next year and if you would like to support Jamie's cause, you can donate here.
