Harrogate's famous Bettys has launched a savoury version of its legendary Fat Rascal.
The family-owned business has introduced the new "Cheesy Rascal" – the first savoury addition to the Rascal family.
While the traditional Fat Rascal is known for its fruity flavour and distinctive smiling face made from cherries and almonds, the new arrival features a combination of cheeses, herbs and savoury ingredients.
Freshly baked at Bettys' craft bakery in Harrogate, the Cheesy Rascal combines mature Cheddar and Gruyère cheeses with sun-dried tomatoes, mustard and herbs.
The familiar Rascal character remains, with a face created using olives and cashew nuts.

Bettys' Fat Rascal has become one of Yorkshire's most recognisable bakery products since being introduced in the early 1980s.
Today, it remains one of the company's best-selling treats and is closely associated with the Bettys brand.
The Cheesy Rascal is available online and in Bettys branches.
