Pantomime favourite Tim Stedman will return to Harrogate Theatre this Christmas for his 26th year on stage.
The theatre has announced Tim as the first cast member confirmed for this year’s festive production, Sleeping Beauty, with the legendary performer set to play the role of Silly Sidney.
Tim has become a much-loved part of Harrogate’s Christmas tradition, entertaining generations of families with his annual pantomime performances.
Your Harrogate’s Ricky Durkin caught up with Tim ahead of this year’s pantomime. Tim said:
"I’m told it’s very good but I’m yet to read a script!
"If you’re 3-years-old or 93, you’re always going to have a laugh and I’m always amazed at how many teenagers come along and really get into the swing of it."
This year’s production of Sleeping Beauty promises magic, laughter and plenty of sparkle, with Harrogate Theatre describing the show as the ultimate festive treat for all ages.
A spokesperson for the theatre said:
“Packed with magic and sparkle, Harrogate Theatre’s spellbinding Sleeping Beauty is the ultimate festive treat for the whole family.”
Performances are due to run from Wednesday 25th November until Sunday 17th January, with tickets already available to book.
