New Harrogate sensory room opens in memory of baby Noah

A sensory room has been created in loving memory of Noah James Sibanda.

A new sensory room has opened in Harrogate in memory of a baby boy who died at just nine weeks old.

Noah’s Ark, at Unit 9, Claro Court Business Centre, has been created by The Sibling Group in loving memory of Noah James Sibanda.

The space welcomes children, adults and families of all abilities, offering a calming environment for sensory exploration and relaxation.

Following Noah’s death, his family wanted to create something positive in his memory, providing a place where others could find comfort and make memories together.

The room aims to support emotional regulation and wellbeing, with sensory experiences particularly suited to autistic people, those with learning disabilities and people with sensory processing differences.

It is also open to families looking for a peaceful and engaging space, regardless of age or ability.

Private sessions give visitors exclusive use of the room, allowing them to explore at their own pace without the distractions of a busy public setting.

Sessions usually cost £25, with an opening offer allowing visitors to book for £10 using the code NA10.

Through Noah’s Ark, the family hopes to keep Noah’s memory alive while creating an inclusive space for the Harrogate community.

Bookings can be made through The Sibling Group’s website.
