Symphonic Ibiza has today announced that Love Island’s Alex Bowen will join the line-up at the Great Yorkshire Showground.
Alex Bowen known for his appearance on the second season of Love Island will open the event as the official warm up DJ.
Alex joins the show after playing regular sets across the UK club and festival scene, as well as numerous appearances at prestigious Ibiza venues.
He will take to the decks from 5.45pm, warming up the crowd for an hour after gates open at 5.15pm, before Vernon Kay’s BBC Radio 2 Dance Sounds of the 90s Live Show takes over as headline support at 6.45pm for a 90-minute set.
The main Symphonic Ibiza live show will begin at 8.30pm.
Alex Bowen said:
“I have some awesome memories of visiting Harrogate over the years, but I’m thrilled to finally be getting to perform there.
"I love Ibiza and I love Harrogate, so it’s the perfect mix.
"I’ve heard this is going to be a show like the town has never seen, so I’m thrilled to be part ofsomething really special.
"Bring on August 15th.”
Freddy White, founder of Yorkshire-based company Sound & White and lead promoter of Symphonic Ibiza, said:
“We’re really pleased to be welcoming Alex to the line-up.
"He brings exactly the kind of energy we wanted for the start of the evening, and he’s the perfect person to get the crowd in the mood before Vernon and the main show.
“From the moment the gates open, we want this to feel like a full evening out and a proper event experience, so having Alex kick things off gives the night another great layer.”
Symphonic Ibiza takes place at the Great Yorkshire Showground on Saturday 15th August and features the 40-piece Symphonic Ibiza Orchestra, playing the most popular Ibiza classics from the last 3 decades with special guest vocalists Heather Small, Rebecca Ferguson MBE and Alison Limerick, and headline support from Vernon Kay’s BBC Radio 2 Dance Sounds of the 90s Live Tour.
