Thousands of people are expected to head to Harrogate next week for the Great Yorkshire Show – and with big crowds comes changes to the town's roads.
The 167th Great Yorkshire Show takes place from Tuesday 14th to Friday 17th July, with the show open 8am to 6pm each day.
Tickets are available in advance only, with visitor numbers capped at 35,000 people per day.
Whether you're heading to the Showground or simply travelling around Harrogate during the week, here's everything you need to know before you set off.
Temporary traffic changes
To help thousands of visitors arrive and leave safely each day, temporary one-way systems will be introduced on roads around the Showground.
From 6.30am each morning, the A661 Wetherby Road will become one-way from the Kestrel Roundabout towards Rudding Lane and the Showground.
At the same time, the one-way system will operate on the A658 between the Thistle Hill junction and the Kestrel Roundabout.
From 2pm each afternoon, the traffic flow on Wetherby Road will be reversed between the Sainsbury's traffic lights and the Kestrel Roundabout to help visitors leave the event. The restrictions are expected to remain until around 9pm, although they may be removed earlier if traffic levels allow.
Follow the official routes
Show organisers are asking motorists to follow the official yellow Great Yorkshire Show directional signs rather than relying solely on sat-navs, which may direct traffic onto unsuitable local roads.
The A661 between Wetherby and Spofforth is not a designated Show route and should be avoided where possible.
Drivers approaching Harrogate from different directions will be guided onto the recommended routes as they near the Showground.
Parking
Parking at the Great Yorkshire Show is free of charge, with extensive parking available on site.
Car parks open from 6am each day, two hours before the show opens, and parking stewards will direct visitors to the appropriate car parks as they arrive.
Travelling by bus
A free shuttle bus will run every 10 minutes between Harrogate Bus Station, next to the railway station, and the Great Yorkshire Showground.
The shuttle operates daily from 7.30am, with the final return bus leaving the Showground at 7pm.
The buses are fully accessible, with low-floor vehicles and space for buggies, and will drop passengers close to White Gate.
The Harrogate Bus Company's Number 7 service between Leeds and Harrogate, via Wetherby, also stops outside the Showground approximately every hour.
Travelling by train
Northern operates regular services to Harrogate from Leeds, Knaresborough and York, with trains running every 30 minutes between Leeds and Harrogate, and between York and Harrogate. Passengers are advised to check timetables before travelling.
From Harrogate railway station, visitors can catch the free shuttle bus from the adjacent bus station.
There is no shuttle bus from Hornbeam Park station, although a signed walking route via the Showground Greenway is available.
Cycling
Visitors travelling by bike can use the dedicated cycle parking at Blue Gate and White Gate, where stewards will be on hand to direct cyclists to the correct entrance.
Accessibility
Dedicated parking for Blue Badge holders is available in the Sainsbury's car park on Wetherby Road. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be reserved.
If the disabled parking area becomes full, visitors will be directed to alternative parking nearby.
The disabled parking area provides easy access towards the Show entrances, and there is also a dedicated drop-off and pick-up point at the Orange Entrance.
Most walkways around the Showground are hard-standing with ramps suitable for wheelchairs, although visitors should be aware that the site is on a slope in places.
