A 75-year-old man has been arrested following an alleged upskirting incident on a train that had travelled from Harrogate.
The incident is reported to have happened at around 5.20pm on Friday 19th June as a train arrived in York.
According to the British Transport Police, a woman was gathering her belongings to leave the service when a man allegedly took photographs up her skirt.
The woman challenged the man on the train before continuing to confront him on the platform.
She then reported the incident to station staff, who contacted police.
The man left the station on a bicycle but has since been arrested.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said the 75-year-old has been released on bail while officers continue their enquiries.
