Imperial Classical Ballet is bringing Swan Lake to Harrogate’s Royal Hall later this month.
The performance takes place on Wednesday 28th October at 7:30pm, as part of Amande Concerts’ 20th anniversary season.
Featuring Tchaikovsky’s score and live orchestral accompaniment, the ballet follows Odette, a young woman held under a spell, and Prince Siegfried, whose promise of love is tested by deception.
The story moves from the palace to the lakeside, where the white swans create some of ballet’s best-known scenes.
The contrasting roles of Odette and Odile combine dramatic storytelling with the technical precision of classical ballet.
The anniversary season marks 20 years of Amande Concerts bringing classical productions to UK audiences. Imperial Classical Ballet’s autumn touring repertoire also includes The Nutcracker and Giselle.
Tickets and further information about the Royal Hall performance are available through Harrogate Theatre’s website.
