A new restaurant combining Brazilian and Japanese cuisine is set to open in Harrogate before the festive season.
NIPO will serve robata-style steaks, sushi and dishes designed for sharing at its Parliament Street location.
The restaurant replaces plans for a Tomahawk Steakhouse at the site, with the team behind sister brand Rio Brazilian Steakhouse now bringing NIPO to the town.
The restaurant has teased it will open in the next couple of months and "before the festive season."

The announcement follows the recent opening of NIPO in Newcastle.
A spokesperson for Tomahawk Steakhouse Harrogate said:
“We're proud to have teamed up with sister brand Rio, to come together and bring the exciting new NIPO concept to Harrogate.
“Recently opened in Newcastle, NIPO brings together Japanese Precision with Brazilian fire.
"Expect robata-style steaks, sushi, bold flavours and dishes made for sharing.”
The concept takes inspiration from the Japanese-Brazilian community of São Paulo, bringing together influences from both cultures.
An exact opening date has yet to be announced.
Further updates will be shared on the restaurant’s social media pages.
