A free Christmas market is coming to Ripley Castle next month.
Around 40 independent Yorkshire makers, producers and artisan businesses will gather in the castle courtyard on Sunday 29th November, from 10am until 3pm.
Organised by Real Markets, the event will feature stalls selling art and photography, candles, preserves, skincare, home décor and clothing, alongside freshly prepared hot food and coffee.
Visitors will be able to meet the people behind the products and shop for Christmas gifts while supporting independent Yorkshire businesses.
Lucy Allen, director of Real Markets, said:
“We can’t wait to bring an incredible range of local makers, bakers and creators to Ripley Castle’s Christmas Market.
"It’s the perfect opportunity to meet the talent behind the product and find beautiful gifts and treats while supporting independent businesses.
"Plus, with free entry to the market, gardens and grounds, it’s a great day out.”
Entry to the castle’s gardens and grounds will also be free, giving visitors the opportunity to explore alongside their festive shopping.
Organisers have also hinted at a possible appearance from Father Christmas.
The event will be Real Markets’ final market at Ripley Castle in 2026.
