Love Island's Alex Bowen to host Ibiza-themed fitness event in Harrogate PureGym

Love Island star and DJ Alex Bowen is heading to PureGym Harrogate for a special one-off Ibiza-themed fitness event to celebrate his announcement as part of the Symphonic Ibiza line-up.

Alex, who has recently been confirmed as the warm-up DJ for Symphonic Ibiza at the Great Yorkshire Showground this summer, will be at PureGym Harrogate on Saturday 4th July 2026 from midday.

Members will have the chance to take part in two special Ibiza-themed fitness classes and meet Alex in person.

The event will feature an Ibiza-themed GLC class at 12pm, followed by an Ibiza-themed LIFT class at 1pm, with Alex DJing and helping bring the energy of Ibiza to the Harrogate gym floor.

Alex said:

“I’m really excited to be coming to PureGym Harrogate.

"I’ve got some great memories of visiting Harrogate over the years, so to be able to come back, meet people locally and bring a bit of Ibiza energy to the gym is going to be brilliant.

"Symphonic Ibiza is going to be such a special event for Harrogate this summer, so this feels like a really fun way to kick things off.”

The PureGym appearance comes ahead of Symphonic Ibiza, which will take place at the Great Yorkshire Showground on Saturday 15th August 2026, bringing a full live orchestra, guest vocalists and DJs together.

“We wanted to do something fun and local to celebrate Alex joining the Symphonic Ibiza line-up, and PureGym Harrogate felt like the perfect fit.

"Alex is known for his fitness, his energy and his love of Ibiza music, so bringing those worlds together for two exclusive classes is a great way to give local people a taste of what’s to come this summer.”

Members can sign up to the classes via the PureGym app. Places will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Symphonic Ibiza takes place at the Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate, on Saturday 15th August 2026.
