Harrogate residents have the chance to vote for the town to receive a visit from the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas Truck this festive season.
For the first time, Coca-Cola is inviting the public to help choose destinations for its annual Christmas Truck Tour, which will travel across Great Britain during November and December.
The famous illuminated red truck, known for its appearance in the company's 'Holidays Are Coming' Christmas adverts, has become a familiar part of the festive season.
At confirmed stops, visitors will be able to see the truck, take photographs, enjoy festive games and have the chance to win Coca-Cola merchandise.
Coca-Cola has launched the initiative alongside research suggesting that 82% of people in Great Britain wish their local town felt more festive at Christmas.
The company also found that 35% of respondents considered attracting more visitors to town centres an important reason for choosing where the truck should stop.
Rob Yeomans, Vice-President of Commercial Development at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners GB, said:
“This year, people can help choose where it visits next.
"With more than a third saying they’d pick a town to help attract more visitors to its centre, it’s a great opportunity to put local high streets in the spotlight and celebrate the businesses at the heart of them.”
Voting is open to people aged 18 and over, with a maximum of three votes per person.
Residents can register or log in through Coca-Cola's website and select Harrogate as their preferred destination.
Voting closes at 4pm on Tuesday 3rd November.
Coca-Cola has stressed that receiving votes does not guarantee a visit, with the highest-supported eligible towns considered for inclusion in the tour.
