Cancer Research UK on Oxford Street featured four naked male volunteers in their window on Saturday to fundraise for the charity.
Harrogate naked shop window event raises £1,500 for charity Harrogate’s ‘naked window’ for cancer awareness has raised more than £1,500 for charity. The event saw four male volunteers strip down and pose in the window of Cancer Research UK on Oxford Street last Saturday (28th October). The day was part of the Stand Up to Cancer campaign to promote men’s health and awareness of cancer. And after collecting donations on the day and online, the shop were able to raise a total of £1,532. A spokesperson said:
“We would like to thank everyone who came to see us and made donations! “Also a big thank you to all our volunteers and naked men for giving us their time.”Alongside raising funds and awareness, the event also aimed to spread the message that men should not be embarrassed and to get checked out by their doctor if they notice any changes.
