On this episode of the Your Harrogate Podcast, Harrogate man Sean McPartland joins us to tell us all about a once in a lifetime challenge he's taking on next week...
The 'Clipper Round the World Race' is one of the biggest challenges of the natural world and an endurance test like no other.
Sean will be joining a crew on a racing yacht to race 40,000 nautical miles on a route divided into eight legs, including 13-16 individual races and six ocean crossings.
He tells us all about the challenge, his reasons for taking part, what he'll see on the way and why he's got the backing of one local primary school and their mascot... [podcast_episode episode="76928" content="excerpt, player"]
