Pavements near Royal Pump Room given a deep clean

The pavements behind Harrogate’s Royal Pump Room have been given a deep clean by one of Harrogate BID's Street Rangers.

Sam Ashby blew and swept away leaves that had gathered along the paths before using a jet washer to clean the area outside The Place.

Harrogate BID said the work had made a “real difference” and thanked Sam for helping to keep the town "looking its best."

The BID’s Street Rangers carry out planned and reactive work across the town centre.

Their tasks include deep cleaning busy areas, litter picking and maintaining street furniture, while also providing a welcoming presence for residents, visitors and businesses.

Most recently, they carried out work on Royal Parade and on Harrogate's One Arch.
