On June 7th, Yolk Farm announced that their charity of the year would be Yorkshire Children's Charity.
This partnership reflects Yolk Farm's commitment to nurturing and supporting the local community, supporting a charity that was voted for by their staff, as a cause close to their hearts.
Yorkshire Children's Charity is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and young people facing adversity across Yorkshire.
With a focus on providing practical and emotional support, the charity shares Yolk Farm's vision of fostering a brighter future for the next generation.
Throughout the year, Yolk Farm at Minskip, will launch a series of initiatives aimed at raising vital funds for Yorkshire Children's Charity.
Highlights of the fundraising calendar include:
1. Family Fun Day: On June 22nd, Yolk Farm invites families to join in a day of egg-citing activities featuring games, live music and so much more. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go directly to Yorkshire Children's Charity.
2. Special Menu Items: Yolk Farm will introduce special menu items inspired by Yorkshire's culinary heritage.
A percentage of sales from these dishes will be donated to support the charity's programs and initiatives.
3. Charity Hamper Raffle: Currently underway, Yolk Farm is hosting a charity hamper raffle.
The hamper, filled with locally sourced delights, presents an opportunity for supporters to contribute.
4. Team building charity day climbing Scarfell Pike, with every member raising sponsorship to take part.
"We are thrilled to announce Yorkshire Children's Charity as our Charity of the Year,"
said Emma Mosey, Owner of Yolk Farm.
"Their unwavering dedication to improving the lives of children resonates deeply with our values, and we are eager to rally our community in support of their important work."
Through collective efforts and generosity, both organisations aim to create lasting change and brighter futures for those in need.
