Little Explorers Day Nursery in Harrogate is celebrating after announcing it achieved a ‘strong standard’ in all areas of its latest Ofsted inspection.
The nursery on Jenny Field Drive welcomed inspectors on 26th August and has now shared the outcome with families.
According to the nursery, inspectors recognised consistently strong practice, high-quality care and the positive experiences children receive every day.
Its leadership team was highlighted as a particular strength, with praise for leaders’ knowledge, dedication and focus on the welfare of children and families.
The nursery said inspectors also recognised the strong relationships between staff and children, describing an environment where children feel safe, secure and happy.
Nursery Manager Lizzie Green said:
“We are delighted that inspectors recognised the dedication, passion and commitment of our entire team. At Little Explorers, we are passionate about creating an environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to thrive.
"Through our holistic approach to early years provision, we focus on supporting every aspect of a child's development, ensuring they receive the care, encouragement and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.
“Everything we do is focused on helping children feel safe, happy and confident while giving them the best possible start in life.
“This report reflects the hard work of our staff, the support of our families and, most importantly, the enthusiasm and achievements of our wonderful children.”
Safeguarding was also highlighted in the nursery’s announcement, with staff praised for their commitment to ensuring children feel protected, supported and heard.
Children’s independence and enthusiasm for learning were recognised, including their confidence in managing daily routines, serving their own food and trying new experiences.
The nursery also reported positive feedback on children’s behaviour, listening skills and attitudes towards learning.
