The Coach and Horses in Harrogate is set to closer later this week for a major refurbishment.
The pub on West Park plans to expand its bar area and will introduce a “taproom-style” to the downstairs.
There will also be screens showing sport in the summer and a brand new ‘Happy Hour’ running Monday to Thursday from 5pm-7pm.
But before the pub closes on Sunday (9th June), it is planning a ‘drink the bar dry’ event.
Visitors can enjoy discounts on selected beers, which will be 50p cheaper, at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm from 7th until 9th June.
There will be live music on Friday, a Bed Race after party on Saturday and a Sunday roast dinner before it closes for the refurb.
The new Coach and Horses, complete with a new logo, will be reopening in July.
Provenance Inns acquired the pub in 2021.
