Harrogate Town has confirmed that defender Anthony O'Connor has left the club by mutual consent.
The 33-year-old joined Town from Morecambe in January 2023 and went on to make 149 appearances in all competitions, becoming a key figure in the heart of the defence during his time at Wetherby Road.
In a statement, the club said:
"Harrogate Town AFC can confirm Anthony O'Connor has left the club by mutual consent.
"The 33-year-old signed in January 2023 and would make 149 appearances during his three-and-a-half years at the club.
"The club would like to place on record their thanks to Ant for his efforts at the club."
His departure comes just over a year after signing a contract extension that had been due to keep him at the club until the end of the 2026/27 season.
