Actress Patsy Kensit has been speaking to Your Harrogate after it was announced she is returning to Emmerdale to reprise her iconic role as Sadie King.
The actress will return to the ITV soap later this year, marking 20 years since Sadie last appeared in the Dales.
Speaking to Your Harrogate's David Whittle, Patsy admitted she was delighted to be asked back.
She said:
"I was really excited about it, and it felt like the right time."
Sadie King, the former wife of Jimmy King, first arrived in Emmerdale in 2004 and quickly became one of the soap's most memorable characters.
During her time in the village, she was at the centre of a string of dramatic storylines, including a house explosion and high-stakes affairs with both Robert Sugden and Cain Dingle.
Her exit came after Cain double-crossed her, stole the ransom money and left her behind, bringing an explosive chapter to an end.
Fans will now be eager to see what brings Sadie back to the village after two decades away.

Your Harrogate's David Whittle visited Emmerdale's set to chat to Patsy Kensit.
You can hear David Whittle's full interview with Patsy Kensit on Your Harrogate Breakfast with Ricky Durkin this morning, and again on David Whittle's show on Saturday.
