RSPCA in North Yorkshire are looking for a new owner for five-year-old Josie, who seems to be scared of men.
RSPCA seeks home for cat who is "petrified of men" RSPCA in North Yorkshire is looking for a new home for a cat that seems to be terrified of men. Five-year-old Josie was taken to Great Ayton Animal Centre last year because of concerns for her welfare. Josie briefly had an owner but was returned due to allergies. She is now the centre’s longest-staying resident. The cat appears to be “petrified of men” and also wary of young children. A spokesperson for the animal centre said:
“She's stolen our hearts here as she is a real sweetie who just needs an understanding person to give her a special home. “She can be quite shy at first, but once she's gained a bit of confidence around you, she can be such a softie, continuing to build that bond. “She's a sweet natured girl who's had a rough start in life, can you find it in your heart to give this sweet girl the quiet home she deserves?”[caption id="attachment_99810" align="aligncenter" width="732"] Five-year-old Josie.[/caption] Not much is known about Josie’s past but she is said to like the fresh air.
