A Harrogate cat rescue has taken in an eight-week-old kitten after she was found 'alone at a garage' with an injury to her limbs.
The kitten, now named 'Foxy', was taken to Vets for Pets in Leeds before being handed over to Harrogate Cat Rescue for specialist care.
The rescue said Foxy had been found by a member of the public and is currently on pain relief while her condition is monitored.
A spokesperson for Harrogate Cat Rescue said:
"This baby had been taken in by a member of the public, after being found alone at a garage.
"It appears that she has sustained an injury to her limbs - cause unknown at the moment.
"At the moment, she doesn’t move much and is on pain relief and being kept quiet.
"Time will tell over the coming days on how well she recovers."
The rescue thanked Vets for Pets in Leeds for caring for Foxy before she was transferred, as well as volunteer Ruth Cockshott for collecting and transporting her.
Harrogate Cat Rescue believes Foxy is a domestic kitten aged around eight weeks and said she "shouldn't have been outside at all."
