Yorktoberfest is set to return to York Racecourse this autumn, with the popular Bavarian-themed event moving under a Big Top for the first time.
The festival will take place across two weekends – October 16th-17th and October 23rd-24th – in the Clocktower Enclosure, with organisers promising a bigger and more immersive experience.
Visitors can expect live oompah music, German-inspired food and drink, fancy dress, dancing and entertainment, including the return of seven-piece band The Bavarian Strollers and drag performer Velma Celli.

Event organiser James Cundall, CEO of Jamboree Entertainment, said:
"We are really excited to be staging Yorktoberfest in a Big Top for the first time - it will make for a unique and unforgettable party.
"Big Tops always bring a super-charged vibe to any event, and the space inside this structure will make our live music and outrageous entertainment even more thrilling.
"It will feel as though you're stepping into another world inside the Big Top - a Bavarian festival with rows of tables and benches, two performance stages, rustic carts full of wooden beer barrels, wooden barns serving German-themed food and drinks, flags galore and generally everything needed for a great night out.
"We are also delighted to say that we will be keeping our ticket prices the same as last year.
"We are mindful that everything everywhere seems to be going up in price and we wanted to keep Yorktoberfest as affordable as we possibly can."
Organisers say additional circus-themed entertainment will also be introduced to reflect the new Big Top venue, with further details to be announced.
The Bavarian Bar will serve beers from Brew York alongside wines, spirits and soft drinks, while German-inspired food including bratwurst, schnitzels and pretzels will be available.
Mr Cundall added:
"We are thrilled that Yorktoberfest has become so popular over the last six years and once again it promises a barrel-full of laughs with friends, beer, a band and bratwurst, not to mention a sensational drag queen, and now a Big Top!
“With the early bird discount available until the end of June, now is the time to get your friends together and start planning the party!"
Tickets are on sale now, with standard tickets priced at £25 and VIP tickets at £35.
An early bird discount is available for bookings made before the end of June.
