Four pupils from St Aidan's CE High School in Harrogate have been selected to represent North Yorkshire at this month's English Schools' Athletics Championships.
The prestigious event will take place at Alexander Stadium in Birmingham on July 10th and 11th, bringing together some of the country's best young athletes.
Among those competing is Ella McIntosh, who will take part in the Senior Girls' Hammer.
She heads into the championships ranked second in the UK at under-20 level.
Luke Shacklock will race in the Senior Boys' Steeplechase and is currently ranked third in the UK in the under-20 age group.
Isabelle Perrow will compete in the Intermediate Girls' 300m after representing the full Yorkshire team earlier this season. She also competed at last year's championships as a junior girl.
Arran Robson completes the St Aidan's quartet and will line up in the Intermediate Boys' 800m. He has enjoyed a breakthrough season, improving his personal best from 2:02 to 1:55.
A spokesperson for St Aidan’s CE High School said:
“We are delighted that four athletes from St Aidan's CE High School will be representing North Yorkshire at the English Schools' Championships
“We wish them all the very best of luck.”
