It happened at Nidd Gorge Woods at around 1:50pm on 21st January. It was reported that a man kicked out at a dog, and tried to snatch a woman's phone when she took pictures of him. A police spokesperson said:
“We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. In particular, we are appealing for information about the identity of the male in this image, as he may have important information that could assist the investigation: “Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should email peter.henderson@northyorkshire.police.uk.
