Hotel Chocolat Harrogate to host immersive chocolate experience Hotel Chocolat in Harrogate is set to host an immersive chocolate tasting experience “with a difference” this week. Participants will learn the story behind the ‘Better Way Bar’ and Hotel Chocolat’s gentle farming initiatives. The immersive experience will guide people through a chocolate tasting of 6 different recipes. It will be held from 7pm until 8pm tomorrow (Thursday 16th November). A spokesperson said:
“What is the Better Way Bar? For the Better Way Bar’s recipe, we take cacao from both Saint Lucia and Ghana and pair it with smooth hazelnut chocolate praline, pops of crispy biscuit and tart cherry pieces. “Both the 50% milk and 70% dark bar are enrobed in chocolate made with cacao from Saint Lucia, home to our own cacao farm. “Here we practise, learn about and evolve gentle farming methods. “At the bar’s heart is praline made with cacao from Ghana, where we’re working with 2,500 farmers to integrate and evolve gentle farming.”The experience runs from 7-8pm with a maximum of 10 people per event. Tickets are £10 and 100% of sales fund nature-positive cacao farming. The ticket price includes a Better Way Bar to take home with you. The event is not suitable for people with nut allergies.
