After securing Football League status for a sixth season, Harrogate Town have revealed the players to be released, along with those staying and who has had a new contract offered.
Town finished 18th in league two and signed off with victory at Morecambe last Saturday (3rd May).
Manager Simon Weaver has kept to his word and spoken to members of the first team regarding their future at the Exercise Stadium.
The following players remain under contract for the 2025/26 season:
- Zico Asare
- George Thomson
- Stephen Duke-McKenna
- Ellis Taylor
- Tom Hill
- Tom Cursons
- Ben Fox
- Bryn Morris
- James Belshaw
- Lucas Barnes
- Marcus Etherington
Meanwhile, the below five players have been released upon the expiry of their contracts:
- Matty Daly
- Matty Foulds
- Dean Cornelius
- Stephen Dooley
- James Daly
Additionally, Toby Sims has left the club to pursue his career overseas.
The defender’s contract was due to expire at the end of the season, however the club and Toby have mutually agreed to terminate the contract early to allow Toby to pursue these opportunities.
