Harrogate Theatre is looking for people to take part in its biggest ever interactive community production 'Get Wed.'
Harrogate Theatre calls for volunteers for biggest ever community production Harrogate Theatre is launching its biggest ever interactive community production - and it needs volunteers to take part. ‘Get Wed’ will be the new production, following successful community shows ‘Our Gate’ and ‘122 Love Stories’. Ahead of the show, Harrogate Theatre is hosting an information event on Saturday 16th March for those looking to take part in any capacity. Involvement can be anything from performing, prop-making, music recording or venue decorating. A spokesperson at Harrogate Theatre said:
“Involvement can range from being given or sent a kit to create something at home to be used in the final set design of the show, to assisting technically with the “fit up”. “Performing may range from playing a wedding guest, usher or caterer to a minor or major role in the production. “With a wide variety of ways to take part and varying involvement and commitment, there really is something for everyone! No prior experience is needed!”[caption id="attachment_100575" align="aligncenter" width="1024"] The poster for Get Wed at Harrogate Theatre.[/caption] Get Wed tells the story of 50-something year olds Jess and Daniel who are getting married. They have so much in common. They’re Eurovision superfans and 80s music buffs, but they’ve only known each other 12 weeks and their families have other ideas! If you are unable to attend the information event but are interested in taking part and would like more information, please email communications@harrogatetheatre.co.uk.
