A Harrogate man is set to take on the world’s biggest half marathon in September in aid of Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
21-year-old Joshua Bland will be one of 60,000 runners at this year’s Great North Run on 8th September.
And he’ll be running in aid of Multiple Sclerosis Society in support of those close to him who are living with the condition.
Joshua said:
“I am raising money for the MS society due to knowing family and friends who suffer with this condition.
“Donating to this charity helps to fund helplines and research to help those who suffer with MS.”
Joshua will be one of 300 runners representing the charity at the event in Newcastle.
And he is no stranger to the course, having taken on the Great North Run in 2023 to raise over £500 for the Make A Wish foundation.
