Yoga teacher brings outdoor classes to Harrogate's Stray

Yoga classes are being held on the Stray in Harrogate.

A local yoga teacher is bringing weekly outdoor classes to Harrogate's Stray, encouraging people to enjoy exercise surrounded by nature.

Harriet has launched Yoga on the Stray, with sessions designed to help people slow down, reconnect with nature and improve their wellbeing in one of the town's most iconic green spaces.

Held beneath the trees on The Stray, the classes are open to all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to experienced yogis.

Harriet said:

"Practising outdoors is such a special experience. You can hear the birds, feel the breeze and reconnect with nature while doing something positive for your body and mind."

She says the classes were created from a passion for combining movement, nature and community, with a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.

The sessions have already attracted a growing group of regular attendees who enjoy both the yoga and the chance to meet new people while spending time outdoors.

Yoga on the Stray takes place every Sunday from 9:30am to 10:30am and every Wednesday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm on Stray Rein.
