A community café in Harrogate is inviting residents to a free coffee-tasting morning this month.
The Lounge Café at St Mark’s Church on Leeds Road will host the event on Tuesday 13th October, starting at 11.30am.
Visitors will sample three distinctive coffees and learn how to identify their flavours, aromas and characteristics.
The event will be led by Nick Castle, CEO and co-founder of Leeds-based speciality coffee importers CLO Coffee.

Nick will also share the stories behind the coffees, drawing on his recent visit to coffee-growing communities in Rwanda.
Café Co-ordinator Pippa Brown said:
“Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast or simply curious about the journey from bean-to-cup, this will be a friendly and engaging coffee-tasting experience.”
The tasting is one of several community activities planned at The Lounge Café this autumn.
The family-friendly café opens on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am until 1.30pm, with regular talks, music and activities aimed at building friendships and promoting wellbeing.
Vicar Mike Resch said:
“We are incredibly excited for the future of the Lounge Café.
“We would like it to become the hub of local life, bringing people from all ages and backgrounds together, giving older people, young mums and visitors to the town, a real sense of community and friendship.”
