More than 10 Yorkshire vineyards will come together at Yorkshire Heart Vineyard near Harrogate next week for the annual Great Yorkshire Wine & Fizz Festival.
The event, being held on 27th June, is giving visitors a rare opportunity to sample wines from across the region in one location as part of English Wine Week (21-28 June).
English Wine Week is a week-long campaign coordinated by WineGB to celebrate the quality, diversity and growing popularity of English wine. There are now more than 1,150 registered vineyards in the UK.
According to the 2025 WineGB Industry Report, sales of English wine have increased by 200% since 2018, while UK vineyards now produce more than 5.7 million bottles annually, making viticulture one of the country's fastest-growing agricultural sectors.
The Great Yorkshire Wine & Fizz Festival reflects the rapid growth of Yorkshire's wine industry, with 19 commercial vineyards now operating across the county and producing more than 100,000 bottles each year.

Many of these vineyards will be present at this year’s Wine and Fizz Festival alongside Yorkshire Heart; Laurel Vines, Little Wold Vineyard, Towthorpe Vines, Ryedale Vineyard, Goose Beck vineyard, Bay View Vineyard, Knotfield Vines, High Cayton Vineyard, Robin Hood’s Bay Vineyard, Farthings Vineyard, Carlton Towers Vineyard and Malton Vineyard.
The idea behind the festival is to further educate people about the region’s wine industry with visitors having the opportunity to learn more about each of the different vineyards and the wines produced.
Visitors can enjoy guided tastings from 1pm to 3pm before relaxing with live music, local food and wines available to purchase from the festival bar throughout the afternoon and evening.
Speaking ahead of the festival; Tim Spakouskas, Yorkshire Heart Vineyard said:
“The festival has grown alongside Yorkshire's wine industry and we're delighted to be hosting the event once again this year.
“Bringing together so many of the region's vineyards in one place gives people a unique opportunity to meet the winemakers, discover new wines and learn more about this exciting local industry.”
