Stump Cross Caverns has been named a finalist in the Yorkshire, Humberside and North East Family Business Awards 2026.
The attraction is now appealing for public votes as it competes for a People’s Choice Award.
The Bowerman family has been welcoming visitors underground since 2003 and is hoping those who have enjoyed the caves and activities will show their support.
A spokesperson for Stump Cross Caverns team said:
“We’re thrilled to be recognised alongside so many fantastic family businesses across Yorkshire & Humberside.”
The team is encouraging anyone who has visited the attraction, taken part in an activity or met its staff to get behind the campaign.
They added:
“Explored our caves? Tried one of our activities? Had a chat with our friendly team? If you’ve enjoyed a visit, please vote for us.
“It only takes a minute and it would mean the world to our family and our team.”
The awards celebrate family-run businesses of all sizes and across a range of sectors in Yorkshire, Humberside and the North East.
Votes can be cast through the Stump Cross Caverns finalist page on the awards website.
