Starbucks remain silent on opening date of Wetherby Road site Starbucks have chosen to remain silent on the opening date of their new drive-through on Harrogate’s Wetherby Road. The coffee chain will soon be opening in place of Leon drive thru, which closed in April last year after just 10 months. Plans were approved by North Yorkshire Council to rebrand the site in August, and job opportunities have also been advertised ahead of the launch. However Starbucks have refused to give any indication of their planned opening date. A spokesperson told Your Harrogate:
“We are always looking for new locations and opportunities to bring the Starbucks experience to customers in the UK, but at this time we have no updates to share about plans in Harrogate.”There is currently a Starbucks located in Harrogate’s Victoria Shopping Centre.
