A popular community festival is returning to Starbeck this weekend.
Starbeck Fest is back for a day of family entertainment, live performances and community spirit on Saturday (4th July).
The festival, organised by Sarah Khanye from The Joyful Brew Café alongside the Starbeck Fest team, takes place on Belmont Field near Starbeck Methodist Church and will celebrate everything that makes the local community unique.
Sarah said:
"What makes Starbeck Fest truly special is its simplicity. There’s no pressure, no big crowds to navigate - just a genuinely lovely day out that feels rooted in the community.
"It’s a chance to slow down, connect with others, and enjoy the kind of summer day we all look forward to. Whether you stay for an hour or the whole afternoon, it’s almost impossible not to leave with a smile.
"So if you’re looking for something to do with the kids, a relaxed catch-up with friends, or simply a way to soak up some local atmosphere, Starbeck Fest is well worth a visit."

Visitors can enjoy live performances from local talent, stalls run by independent businesses, charities and community groups, as well as a range of family-friendly activities throughout the day.
There will also be face painting, traditional games, crafts and plenty of food and drink on offer, with local vendors serving everything from street food to homemade treats.
