Santa will visit a Harrogate veterinary practice next month to help raise money for Make-A-Wish.
Medivet Harrogate on Knaresborough Road will welcome families and their pets for a free festive open day on Sunday 22nd November.
A consulting room will be transformed into Santa’s grotto, where children can share their wishes and take home a Medivet goodie bag.
Visitors can also explore behind the scenes, including the teddy theatre, and pick up pet first aid tips from the veterinary team.
Mince pies, mulled wine and fizz will be on offer, alongside a raffle and quiz.

Visitors will be invited to donate to see Santa or enjoy a mince pie, with all donations going to Make-A-Wish, which grants life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Marrianne Griffiths, co-owner and partner of Medivet Harrogate, said:
"Christmas is a truly wonderful time of year where wishes can come true, but it can also be quite tough too."
"That's why we are wanting to give a little back with a bit of festive fun and our very own Santa, pulling together as a community to fundraise for Make-A-Wish to help make children's wishes a reality."
The open day will run from 11am to 3pm at Medivet Harrogate, 43 Knaresborough Road, HG2 7SR.
Pets are welcome and no booking is needed. For more information, contact the practice on 01423 884074.
