Harrogate's Street Rangers have started cleaning around the Cenotaph ahead of Remembrance Day.
The team has shared a video showing the work so far, giving viewers a satisfying glimpse of the cleaning process.
Several rounds of careful cleaning are needed, with work set to continue over the coming weeks.
Sharing the footage, a spokesperson for Harrogate BID said:
“It’ll take a few layers and plenty of care to get it ready, so keep an eye out over the next few weeks as the team continues their work; it's not finished yet!”
Harrogate BID’s Street Rangers help keep the town centre "clean and welcoming" through tasks including street cleaning, graffiti removal and general maintenance.
