Ripon's Workhouse Museum is set to host a series of ghost hunts.
Visitors will be given the opportunity to explore the “forbidding location” and investigate unexplained bangs and shadows walking around the corridors.
Haunted Happenings is hosting the event on Friday 29th November from 8:30pm-2:30am, and again on Saturday 18th January 2025.
A spokesperson for Ripon Museums said:
“During your ghost hunt you will be able to take part in many experiments to find out who or what haunts Ripon Workhouse.
“These experiments include watch and wait vigils using paranormal equipment such as K2 Meters, glass moving and table tipping.
“Do you have what it takes to spend time alone in one of the haunted cells?”
Participants will be provided with ghost hunting equipment including EMF Meters and K2 Meters.
There will be ghost hunting vigils and séances in small groups, as well as free time to investigate alone.
Tickets are charged at £49 per person. Find out more and get yours online here.
