The restaurant at The Old Deanery in Ripon has served its final meals after closing at the end of last week.

The team welcomed diners for the final time on Friday (31st July) bringing an end to a chapter which saw the restaurant earn a Michelin recommendation and three AA Rosettes.

A statement from The Old Deanery said the business was “so proud” of everything achieved by its restaurant team over the past few years.

It said:

“From earning Michelin Recommendation and 3 AA Rosettes to creating so many memorable evenings for our guests, none of it would have been possible without the amazing people in this photo.

“To everyone who chose to spend an evening with us over the last couple of years... thank you for supporting us and for being part of this chapter of The Old Deanery.”

The historic venue, located opposite Ripon Cathedral, will remain open as a hotel.

Guests can continue to book overnight stays with breakfast from Wednesday to Saturday evenings.
