A popular Ripon sandwich shop has moved to larger premises in a bid to meet growing customer demand.
Big Bites has relocated from its former site in Market Square East to a new unit on Queen Street, expanding its space four-fold.
Owners Alex and Natalie Sutcliffe say the move will allow them to offer a wider range of food and drink, as well as providing indoor seating for customers.
Alex said:
"By popular demand from our growing customer base, we've moved a few doors down from the small, cramped outlet that we had in Market Square East and will now be able to realise our full potential in spacious new surroundings."
The new premises also incorporates Sutty's Grub, a brand aimed at motorcycle enthusiasts.
Alex said the business had outgrown its previous home, with customers often queuing outside.
He added:
"We knew that we had outgrown our previous premises because our customers were having to queue in the street.
"Following negotiations with Sterne Properties Limited, we agreed a deal in April and here we are now with four times the space, a large indoor seating area with tables and benches and an increased range of food, drink and other goods on sale."
Alongside its popular hot and cold sandwiches, Big Bites now offers gluten-free options, take-home meal deals, pies and pastries sourced from local suppliers.

The business also runs an early morning meal deal priced at £4 until 8:30am and offers a 10% discount to Blue Light card holders and military personnel on most purchases.
Ripon BID Manager, Lilla Bathurst, welcomed the expansion and said it reflects continued investment in the city centre.
She said:
"The community of independent businesses that make our city so special all benefit from the millions of pounds invested in Ripon by local companies and individuals, as each opening, expansion and refurbishment brings increased consumer choice and contributes to the overall offer provided by the Cathedral City of the Dales."
Big Bites is open from 7:30am until 3pm Monday to Saturday and from 8am until 2pm on Sundays.
