Popular Harrogate café to host early-morning coffee rave

Rant & Ramble will take over Fodder in October.

An early-morning coffee rave featuring a live DJ and percussionist is coming to Harrogate this autumn.

Rant & Ramble will take over Fodder at the Great Yorkshire Showground on Friday 2nd October.

The event will begin at 7am with a walk around the showground led by Rant & Ramble co-founder Leesa Collinge.

Participants will then head into Fodder Café for half an hour of music and dancing from 7.30am.

The rave will feature a live DJ, percussion from Romi Foxx and coffee supplied by Huddersfield-based Coffee Brothers.

Rant & Ramble has held coffee raves across the UK, bringing people together through music, movement and social connection.

Leesa said:

“You honestly have to experience a Rant & Ramble Coffee Rave to understand how it makes you feel.

“There’s something pretty special about standing in a room first thing in the morning with hundreds of people dancing, singing, laughing and completely letting go.

“People arrive on their own and leave having met someone new. They walk in tired and walk out absolutely buzzing.

“We cannot wait to bring that energy to Fodder. Expect banger after banger, live drums and a massive dose of feel-good energy.”

Fodder will open earlier than usual for the event before serving a selection of special breakfast dishes from 8am.

Vanessa Pitt, Fodder Manager, said:

“We are so excited to be hosting a morning coffee rave at Fodder.

“We’ve seen how popular and vibrant Rant & Ramble’s Coffee Raves are. What better way to start your day than a walk around the showground and a dance right here in Fodder?”

Tickets cost £12.50 per person and are available through Eventbrite.
