Police close Harrogate roads due to potential bomb scare North Yorkshire Police have closed a road in Harrogate and evacuations have taken place due to a potential bomb scare. One resident reported seeing a "suspicious vehicle" outside Harrogate Magistrates Court on Victoria Avenue. Police and fire crews attended the incident before closing Victoria Road and redirecting traffic at the Prince of Wales roundabout. This has since reopened. The court itself and St Peter's CE Primary School were evacuated as a precaution. Members of the public and motorists have been advised to avoid the area if possible.
