The Harrogate Inn is hosting a Christmas Market Launch Party to celebrate the shopping opportunities coming to Harrogate this Christmas.
Party to celebrate launch of Harrogate Christmas markets A launch party will be held this weekend to celebrate the arrival of Harrogate’s various Christmas markets and shopping opportunities. Hosted by The Harrogate Inn, the party will be held from 7pm on Saturday and is being organised by Enchantica’s. It’s to celebrate the start of the Harrogate Christmas Fayre, Little Bird Market in Valley Gardens and the Country Living Christmas Fair at Harrogate Convention Centre. Henry from The Harrogate Inn said:
“There’s so much going on this Christmas in Harrogate! “It’s great to be a part of what Destination Harrogate is doing and be able to help out by extending the festive celebrations into the evening for traders, local businesses and visitors alike.”[caption id="attachment_90373" align="aligncenter" width="1024"] The Harrogate Inn is hosting the launch party on Saturday.[/caption] The party is open to all and will allow the Christmas festivities to continue after the shops have closed. There’ll be entertainment from Romi Foxx on Percussion and tunes from DJ Dent and DJ Steve, plus more live entertainment every Saturday in December. Local events company Enchantica’s are once again behind this year’s community entertainment programme at the Harrogate Christmas Fayre. Suzanne Vaughan from Enchantica’s said:
“This year, we wanted to extend the festive entertainment into the evening too, so are delighted that The Harrogate Inn are hosting these weekly evenings with free live entertainment.”The daytime entertainment programme is also packed with a variety of performances. It starts on Friday morning (1st December) when members of the Christmas Community Choir will be singing Christmas carols to mark the opening of the Harrogate Christmas Fayre. The Harrogate Christmas Fayre runs until 17th December with daily performances to add some festive magic. There are 10 schools coming along to sing, and performances every day from local choirs, bands and musicians, plus singalongs with Frosty the Snowman. See the performance schedule here.
