Two new daytime community choirs are set to launch in Harrogate and Knaresborough next month.
Singing Communities is expanding with new weekly sessions aimed at bringing people together through music, regardless of their previous singing experience.
The choirs will launch on Wednesday 9th September, with no auditions and no requirement for members to be able to read music.
Sessions will feature a variety of styles including pop, musicals, world music, classical and folk, with songs performed in two and three-part harmonies.
Musical Director Liz Sawyer will lead both groups and teach songs through call and response to make the sessions accessible to singers of all abilities.

The Knaresborough choir will meet at Calcutt & Forest Moor Village Hall every Wednesday from 10.15am until 11.45am.
The Harrogate choir will meet at Westcliffe Hall, home of Kairos Church, from 1.15pm until 2.45pm each Wednesday.
Organisers said the groups are open to everyone, including people who sing regularly and those who may not have sung since school.
They said:
“Whether you sing all the time, haven’t sung since school, or just love a good tune, you’re invited.
“There are no auditions and no pressure. Just some great songs, good company and the joy of singing together.”
The first session is free for new members.
